What is Vuma Reach?
Vuma Reach is an open-access fibre optic network built to connect South African homes with fast but affordable internet. It currently passes over 1 million homes and connects more than 263,000 of them - making it one of the country's fastest-growing fibre networks. Speeds range from entry-level 20/10 Mbps right up to 100/50 Mbps, covering everything from basic browsing to multi-device 4K streaming and online gaming.
Worth being clear about what Reach is, though: it is a price tier, not a technology.
