Octotel from R449/mo
That is the 25/25 Mbps Uncapped line from Webafrica. RSAweb sells 55/25 Mbps Uncapped on the same Octotel line for R299 - R150/mo less - so check coverage first, then decide whether the saving is worth switching seller.
What a year actually costs
3 of the 7 Octotel lines here steps up by R100/mo when the promo ends, so the advertised price is not what year one costs. Over 12 months the order happens to hold, which is worth knowing too.

A once-off installation or activation charge is paid once, so it weighs on year one and not on year two. Where a line wins on the advertised rate but loses over twelve months, check how long you expect to keep it, and compare on effective monthly cost rather than on the headline. Next: every ISP's 20 Mbps deals.
And over two years
Stretch the same Octotel pool to 24 months and the promo stops mattering: that R100/mo step-up is paid for 21 of the 24 months on most of these lines, so the standing rate is nearly the whole bill, and on this network the ordering survives it. This is the view that counts if you are not planning to move.

Octotel on Webafrica , quick answers
The honest verdict
2 reasons to buy Octotel here and 3 reasons not to, every one computed from the 7 packages above - including the R150/mo RSAweb undercuts this page by. They move when the prices do.
Webafrica on Octotel is the right buy if…
- Your address shows Octotel coverageCoverage decides this before price does. We track 7 verified Webafrica packages on Octotel, from R449/mo for 25/25 Mbps Uncapped up to 1000 Mbps.
- You upload as much as you download3 of the 7 lines here are symmetrical, which is what matters for video calls, cloud backups and streaming out rather than in.
Who should look elsewhere
- Price is the only thing that matters to youRSAweb sells 55/25 Mbps Uncapped on Octotel for R299 - R150/mo less than the cheapest line on this page. Over 24 months that is R3 600 of difference, before anyone's install fee.
- Your address does not show OctotelThen none of the 7 prices above can help you, and comparing them is wasted effort. Coverage is decided by which network reached your street, not by which ISP you prefer - check the address first, then come back to price.
- You are buying on value per megabit, not on monthly priceThe cheapest line here is not the best value: 25/25 Mbps Uncapped works out at R17.96/Mbps against R1.47/Mbps for 1000/200 Mbps Uncapped - 12.2x the price per megabit. If a bigger line fits the budget, it buys far more per rand.
